It would be amazing to get an auto sort function added to the game. A mechanic I thought up is to use 1 Surtling Core and 10 of an item, such as 10 Fine wood, to create a sorting item. Placing that item in any chest and leaving it there will mark it as an auto sort destination for those items. Use a Surtling core to create a master item to designate a chest as the one items get sorted from. Getting the storage sorted out in a base is a process by itself, and maintaining that storage gets pretty old. Auto sort lightens some of that tedium through a resource investment.
