With Valheim being an early access game sometimes bugs occur that can corrupt your world save. It's always a good idea to regularly back-up your world files so you don't lose all of your progress!
Luckily, backing up your Valheim game server files is rather simple.
For windows users simply back-up all files located in the following directory:
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\
You may need to enable hidden directories to see the "AppData" folder found in C:\Users\<your username>\
To enable showing of hidden files/directors, search "Folder Options" in your Windows start bar.
