Simple suggestion that comes from the lack of shields on the longship after the rework:
Being able to place Shields on the side of a Longship, either just for aesthetic purposes or to increase resistance against certain types of attacks when the ship has the required amount of shields on the side. Could also make the hit box of the ship be higher to protect the people onboard when crouching or when sitting on the benches like the real life versions were designed to protect the people rowing the boat from water/debris and arrows/projectiles as well as a handy place to put the shields when not in use.
Could also expand on the idea and being able to place them on the Karve, with lower resistance bonus.
The resistance bonus would depend on the type of shield being used, excluding the bucklers for being too small and maybe also the tower shields for being too big.
