Unable to connect to dedicated server

I've installed VH via Steamon an Ubuntu server. Everything went well then the server crashed due to power outage.
I've recovered the server and restored a back of the world. Although steam runs VH, I am unable to connect either via the local IP or it's internet address.

Any ideas where I can find the log files on a Linux box for VH?
