Too much rain! (Going to build an Ark soon)

There are hidden serpent spawners along the ocean floor. They have a chance to spawn a serpent when players are within range (idk what the range is), and the chances go up under certain conditions like weather and if it's night time.

    Combat Adjustment Suggestions

One thing that would REALLY help would be have the camera render things like tree leaves and other non-solid geometry partially transparent when the tree/object is between you and the camera. That way, all you'd have blocking your view would be things like tree trunks, rather than the entire...

    Teleport Ores

I wouldn't mind being able to transport metals through teleporters if we've beaten the boss above that metal's tier. IE, beat the Elder, now you can teleport copper. Beat Bonemass, now you can teleport bronze and tin. (Because if you could teleport tin and copper, you'd be able to just make...

    Teleport Ores

Mythologically, it might make sense. I don't know enough about viking mythos to explain it well, but (IIRC) they considered metals to be material left behind by gods, so having metal be immune to magic like the portals makes sense. (Though for purely balance reasons, I understand why metal...

    Cartography Table

This is an old suggestion that reappears a few times a week, every week (in some form or another) on the official discord suggestion thread. A cartography station that allows players to combine their map exploration data. IE, if guy 1 goes exploring to the west, and guy 2 goes exploring to the...

    Copper vs. Tin Balancing

TBH, the copper should break in one hit per section of the node, like iron nodes in the swamp crypts do. Also, only getting 2 bronze out of 1 tin and 2 copper is an unnecessary penalization. We should be getting 3 bronze ingots out for the 3 ingots (1 tin 2 copper) we put in.

    Ship Destruction

I empty enough space and weight in my inventory for the boat materials, and then break it while standing as close as I can to the mast (the log that holds up the sails). That way I get all the materials back and I can just take my boat with me or drop it in a chest until I need it again. Same...

Too much rain! (Going to build an Ark soon)

It already works like that, in some circumstances. High waves will take a decent toll on your ship due to "fall damage" alone (falling from the crest of a wave back down to the water below generally does 10-15 damage per fall). I once nearly died on a Karve because I lost about half its...

    Passive Fish Traps

Well, by the time you would have access to the bait and finewood, you'll already have access to regular meat, carrot soup, and either jelly or neck tail (at the minimum). Most likely, you'll already be making sausage though. So fish would mostly just be for eating along with honey as a "i need...

    Passive Fish Traps

Passive fish traps. For balance's sake, you'd use 5 finewood and 2 bait, with the bait being immediately consumed and the trap getting 1/10 bait. Essentially it would work just like a campfire in functionality. Campfires are 5 stone and 2 wood, but the moment you place it the wood is consumed...
