Custom world generator

At the start of a new game options could be available to customize your world. World size, resource scarcity, biome percentages, day length, gravity and physics could be altered. The stats of each item, monster and player could be changed. New weather types and natural disasters could be enabled. Gathering could be made instantaneous, or perhaps ground and trees could be made invincible.

This type of editor would be fun, and could increase long term interest in the game.
