I have an nvidia rtx2080 and an intel i7-9700k, 32gb of ram. everything works well, i have literally no performance issues whatsoever on the highest settings with unlimited fps and no vsync. I do however run into an issue. when i am out at sea my GPU core goes to 100% load or around there and, even though my temperature doesn't go above 85 degrees celsius, my GPU fan goes to 4600 RPM which i've never heard it do. It took a while for me to identify it was the GPU fan because i've never heard it do that before. I was wondering if there is something you could do about the ocean and how it uses the GPU. thank you!
edit: and my fps stay above 100 but my gpu runs at 100%. and i tried locking fps at 60 and the gpu usage stays the same
i found this thread on google which leads to reddit, for further documentation https://www.reddit.com/r/valheim/comments/le7pbe
