Hello Community,
TLDR: Love the game, but want more content faster. Let us pay for updates.
Option A (current): Release amazing game at fixed price with great potential for updates. Lots of people buy game because it's awesome. After release, the conversion between development-hours into sales is super low, which contributes to a low incentive to develop future updates.
Option B (suggestion): Same as A, but; instead develop updates, and charge for them. This would incentivize working on the game for more updates.
