Just for straight quality of life improvements.
When I throw a spear, its pretty hard to see where it fell, other players in multiplayer end up vacuum cleaning it up, and then its a pain. If I build multiple spears, I'd need multiple item slots to use them. Unlike arrows who can store 100.
Not saying we should be able to hold 100 spears, but something like 6-8 spears seem reasonable. At least you can throw a few, and still fight melee afterwards.
