Spawn is in Meadows near water on a large island. There are Black Forest and Mountain biomes on the island, but far enough from spawn to keep their mobs from attacking.
There's an alter to Elkthyr a little uphill from spawn. There's also an abandoned hut at the waters edge that works well as a camp for your first few days while you gather materials for a larger house.
I don't know how well this seed will work for later game play, as I haven't killed Elkthyr yet. Feel free to add more info on this seed to this thread.
