steam achievements

Please add steam achievements. They will be fun to play with.

While it's not linked to Steam, we already have two forms of achievement tracking. The first is skills and the second is the window that shows all the trophies you've collected. I know that in other games, there are achievements tracking everything from hours played to number of chopped-down trees to number of fish caught. Could these features be added, then linked to your Steam account? Sure. Why not? Would it be a motivation for me to do these various things? Probably not, because a lot of these things encourage grinding, and there's already enough of it in this game, and I'd rather not add more unnecessarily.
